Friday 9 a.m. drop-in yoga, online
Maintain your self-care and sanity with this 45-minute practice. We’ll focus on breath first and foremost, and we’ll add in gentle asanas (postures) to keep you stretched and strong. This practice is designed to keep you calm, centred and grounded. It’s for yogis of all levels, including beginners.
We meet on Zoom, an online meeting space. You can download the app for free, or join on a computer. Once you sign up, you’ll receive a secure link.
You’re welcome to come to one class, or sign up for a few. I’ll add more classes as we continue to practice physical distrancing and self-isolation. This is a pay-what-you-can yoga practice to accomodate current financial situations. If you feel called to pay $5 or more, thank you. You can pay by credit card when you sign up or pay later to eTranfer to firstname.lastname@example.org. If $5 is currently a barrier, click pay later to bypass payment.
All classes have moved online, using Zoom. For availability, email email@example.com
Find a calmer mind through breath and movement. It’s easier to thrive in a busy life with a healthy body that’s relieved of stress.
The word yoga means connection. Connect with your breath, body, mind and soul in a small class setting. We start each class by asking, “What does your body need today?”
With 4-6 students per class, your practice is tailored to your needs. Taught following hatha yoga traditions, each class includes pranayama (breathing techniques) as well as asanas (postures).
We’re so excited to offer this to you! It’s a simple start to a yoga practice.
Have you wanted to try yoga, but didn’t know where to start? Maybe the thought of going into a yoga studio has you running back to your couch.

Physically yoga reduces muscle tension, can improve your flexibility, build muscle strength, perfect your posture, prevents cartilage and joint breakdown, protects your spine, betters your bone health, increases your blood flow, drains your lymphs and boosts immunity.
Mentally yoga increases body awareness, sharpens attention and concentration, and calms and centers the nervous system by moving you from the sympathetic nervous system to the parasympathetic nervous system, or from flight-or-flight to rest-and-digest. This reduces anxiety and eases you into a more relaxed state.
